Hannah Ann Sluss — Biography
Hannah Ann Sluss emerged into the national spotlight in 2020, achieving victory on the twenty-fourth season of The Bachelor, a reality dating competition featuring pilot Peter Weber. Her journey to fame was preceded by a lifelong career in modeling, gracing numerous advertisements, and a history of pageant participation. She demonstrated considerable success in the Miss Tennessee pageant, securing the first runner-up position in both 2015 and 2018, a fourth-place finish in 2017, and claiming the second runner-up title in 2014. Additionally, she held the title of Miss North Knoxville. In 2019, Sluss was selected to compete on the aforementioned season of The Bachelor, with filming occurring in the autumn of that year. Her official introduction as a contestant was on December 16, 2019. She ultimately won the season, accepting a proposal from Weber during the finale. However, during the subsequent After the Final Rose special, it was disclosed that Weber had ended their engagement due to lingering feelings for runner-up Madison Prewett. Following the conclusion of her Bachelor season, Sluss made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Later, in September 2021, she participated in the competition series The Ultimate Surfer. On this program, she received surf instruction from the contestants and was tasked with selecting who would advance in the competition.
