HoYeon Jung — Biography

Hoyeon Jung first stepped onto the global fashion stage in 2016, securing a highly sought-after exclusive contract with Louis Vuitton. This marked the beginning of her international modeling career, which quickly saw her featured in prominent campaigns for prestigious houses like Chanel, Fendi, Hermes, and Tory Burch, alongside numerous high-profile editorial spreads and magazine covers. Her talents were recognized in 2019 with the ‘Asia Star Award’ at the SEOUL Asia Model Awards. Furthermore, she consistently ranked among the world's top 50 models for four consecutive years, starting from 2017. Hoyeon’s considerable success in the fashion world provided a natural bridge to other entertainment ventures. Her foray into acting arrived with the South Korean thriller series Squid Game, which premiered globally on Netflix in September 2021. The show achieved instant international recognition from both critics and viewers. As the captivating Kang Sae-byeok, Hoyeon found herself at the center of widespread media attention and a surge of social media engagement, accumulating millions of Instagram followers within a month of the series' debut. In October of that same year, Louis Vuitton deepened their association with her by naming her their Global Ambassador.
