Iris Bristol, a striking brunette, possessed a unique charisma that blended the approachable charm of the girl next door with an undeniable allure evoking the South Pacific. Her natural habitat seemed to be amidst tiki statues and lush tropical settings, often adorned in her signature leopard print bikini. Though her beginnings were far from the exotic locales she projected, being born in the decidedly un-tropical city of Birmingham, England, by the mid-1950s Bristol had relocated to California.
