Jade Thirlwall — Biography

Jade Thirlwall, a British vocalist, rose to prominence as a member of the hugely successful all-female ensemble Little Mix. The group first captured the public's attention by winning the eighth series of the popular talent competition The X Factor. Their inaugural album, titled DNA, made a strong showing, climbing to the third position on the UK music charts. As of March 2024, Thirlwall commands a significant online presence with 10.6 million followers on her Instagram account.

Thirlwall's journey toward stardom began earlier, as she first auditioned for The X Factor during its fifth season in 2008, performing The Beatles' classic "I Want to Hold Your Hand." Unfortunately, her aspirations were put on hold at the Bootcamp stage. Undeterred, she returned for another audition in 2010, a decision that ultimately paved the way for her future success.

In recognition of their impact, Jade and Little Mix received a nomination for Band of the Year at the 2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards. Their dedication and talent were further acknowledged when they secured this award in 2014.

Born to parents James and Norma Thirlwall, Jade grew up with a brother named Karl. Her romantic life has seen her in relationships with Sam Craske, a member of the dance troupe Diversity, from 2013 to 2014. Following that, she dated Jed Elliott, a musician, from 2015 to 2019. Since 2020, she has been in a relationship with the rapper Jordan Rizzle Stephens. In terms of inspiration, Thirlwall has often cited the pop icon Cheryl Cole as a significant idol.
