Jakara Jackson — Biography

Jamara Garrett, known professionally in the squared circle as Jakara Jackson, is an American athlete who has made her mark in professional wrestling. Her most prominent tenure has been with WWE, where she competes under the ring name Jakara Jackson. Garrett's journey with the global wrestling giant began in August 2021 following a successful tryout in Las Vegas, Nevada, which culminated in her earning a contract with the organization.

Shortly after joining, she adopted the moniker Jakara Jackson. Her first official match occurred on August 5, 2022, at an NXT house show. In this debut, she teamed with Lash Legend, but they were ultimately defeated by the duo of Katana Chance, comprised of Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter. Jackson’s televised debut followed on October 28, appearing on NXT Level Up, where she faced Thea Hail, portrayed by Maddie Knisley, in a losing effort.

A significant development in her career came at NXT Battleground on May 28, 2023. On this occasion, Jackson and Lash Legend joined forces with Noam Dar and Oro Mensah. This alliance was instrumental in Dar retaining his NXT Heritage Cup against Dragon Lee, solidifying the formation of the stable known as The Meta-Four. Jackson and Legend made their presence felt on the main roster on the October 11, 2024, episode of SmackDown, challenging Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, though they were unsuccessful in their bid for the titles.

The Meta-Four faction reached its conclusion on the April 29, 2025, episode of NXT. During a backstage segment, the members mutually agreed to go their separate ways, citing ambitions for individual singles pursuits. Subsequently, on May 2, Garrett's tenure with WWE concluded with her release from the company.
