Janice Pennington — Biography

Janice Pennington has a younger sister named Ann Pennington, who also made her mark as a Playboy Playmate, appearing in the March 1976 edition. She was one of the original four models featured on "The Price Is Right" when it debuted in 1972. Janice was previously married to Shaun Cassidy's brother, making her his former sister-in-law. In a dramatic moment during a taping of "The Price Is Right" in 1988, she was struck by a camera and lost consciousness as a result. Her modeling career on the show spanned from its inception in 1972 until 2000. Janice's second husband, Frederic "Fritz" Stammberger, was a well-known mountain climber who went missing in the vicinity of the Soviet Union and was declared legally dead in 1984. She is also the aunt of Caitlin Ann Cassidy and John Cassidy.
