Kasumi Arimura — Biography

Born on February 13, 1993, Kasumi Arimura is a Japanese performer who has made her mark on both television and film. She gained recognition for her portrayal of the younger Haruko Amano in the 2013 NHK morning drama "Amachan." Later, she took center stage as the protagonist in the 2017 morning drama "Hiyokko." Arimura's filmography includes notable works such as "Flying Colors," a performance that earned her the Newcomer of the Year award at the 39th Japan Academy Film Prizes. Her work in "We Made A Beautiful Bouquet" was also highly lauded, resulting in her receiving the 45th Japan Academy Film Prize for Best Actress.
