Kata Kärkkäinen is a Finnish model known for her work in nude modeling and was recognized as Playboy Playmate of the Month in December 1988. She achieved a notable accomplishment in Finland by winning the Girls Under-18 Bowling National Championship. As a foreign exchange student, she attended Stevens High School in Rapid City, South Dakota, where she was a member of the school's unsanctioned bowling team. Kata is also a member of Mensa. From 1991 to 1996, she was married to Johnny Lee Michaels, with whom she had one child. In 2004, she welcomed a daughter, Kiana Elina Aurora, whose father is Marcello Gentile. On March 30, 2005, she married her current spouse, Janne Janhonen.
