Katie-Marie Cork — Biography

Katie-Marie Cork was born in Middlesex, where she was raised alongside her parents and older brother. She has a mixed heritage, being half Portuguese. During her teenage years, she cultivated a love for dance and drama, eventually pursuing formal studies in both disciplines at her local college. Her ambitions in modeling began unexpectedly when a family member arranged a surprise fashion photo shoot for her birthday, which ignited her interest in becoming a model. As she gained experience in modeling, she also worked full-time at a theme park. A year later, while employed at Terminal 5 in Heathrow Airport, Katie-Marie decided to explore glamour modeling. Lacking any professional topless photographs, she requested her partner to capture some images of her, which she then submitted to various magazines and newspapers. The Sun chose to include her in their Fresher's competition, where she achieved a runner-up placement. Soon after, she participated in the Page 3 Idol competition without high expectations and surprisingly reached the final six. Ultimately, she finished as the runner-up to Sam Cooke in the 2006 contest, but this accomplishment was not the end of her journey, as she signed with a modeling agency shortly after. Her popularity peaked when she was honored as Page 3 girl of 2012.
