Born on August 15, 1978, Kerri Walsh Jennings is an acclaimed American professional beach volleyball competitor. Her illustrious career boasts an impressive haul of three Olympic gold medals and one Olympic bronze. By 2016, she had cemented her status as the most victorious player in beach volleyball history, having triumphed in a remarkable 135 international and domestic competitions. Alongside her longtime partner Misty May-Treanor, Walsh Jennings stood atop the Olympic podium for beach volleyball in the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Games. Their dominance extended to the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships, where they secured victories in 2003, 2005, and 2007. Their partnership was marked by numerous record-breaking achievements, including an astonishing streak of 112 consecutive match wins, which encompassed 19 consecutive tournament titles in the 2007–2008 period.
