Kim Delaney — Biography
Born on November 29, 1958, Kim Delaney carved out a significant presence in American television. She is widely recognized for her impactful portrayal of Detective Diane Russell in the acclaimed ABC series NYPD Blue, a role that ultimately earned her an Emmy Award. Her journey in the acting world began with a role as Jenny Gardner on the ABC daytime drama All My Children. Following this early success, Delaney took on prominent parts in various television projects. She featured in the brief-lived drama Philly, contributed to the initial season of CSI: Miami, and was a central figure throughout the first six seasons of Army Wives. Before these, she also made an appearance in Tour of Duty, taking on the character of reporter Alex Devlin in the second season and the opening two episodes of the third.
