Laetitia Bouffard-Roupe — Biography

Residing in Spain, Laetitia Bouffard-Roupe is a multifaceted artist whose talents span fine art modeling, aerial acrobatics, yoga instruction, and fitness training. Her reputation is built on her work in artistic nude and movement-focused photography, showcasing a remarkable command of her body, impressive flexibility, and a profound capacity for expression.

Laetitia's journey with movement began at the tender age of three with classical ballet. By nine, she achieved a significant milestone, successfully auditioning for the highly competitive École de Danse of the Paris Opera Ballet, a distinction earned by only eighteen individuals from thousands of hopefuls. Her comprehensive education there included not only ballet but also folk dance, mime, singing, anatomy, music theory, and dance history, all alongside her academic studies. She graced the Paris Opera stage professionally from the age of ten and later obtained a dancer-choreographer diploma from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Lyon. Her career included performances with companies such as Europa Dance Ballet in Paris and extensive international touring with various national ballet troupes across Europe. While ballet provided her with a strong foundation in discipline, posture, endurance, and bodily awareness, she eventually sought a departure from its structured environment to pursue greater creative liberty.

Her artistic exploration then shifted to acrobatics and circus arts, where she honed her skills in acrobatic adagio and aerial disciplines, including silks, hoops, straps, and nets. Performing with a partner, she secured bronze medals at international circus festivals in Paris and Wuqiao, China, and contributed to special events for Cirque du Soleil. Their performances took them to 84 countries, gracing prominent stages, television programs, the Calgary Stampede in Canada, and luxury cruise lines. This period allowed her to expand her creative role, encompassing choreography, costume design, and directing her own artistic visions. In 2018, Laetitia ventured into fine art modeling following a collaborative artistic nude project with photographer André Brito, which incorporated aerial hoop and pointe shoes. This marked a new phase of exploration, enabling her to delve into movement, stillness, form, and emotional expression through the lens of a camera and, subsequently, through sculpture. She has since collaborated with numerous photographers and sculptors globally, prioritizing projects grounded in respect, intention, and artistic integrity.

Her imagery has been featured in prominent international magazines, including Malvie, VuNuMag, and the Spanish edition of Playboy, and she has graced multiple magazine covers. Her achievements have been recognized through accolades from the WPE Awards, Trierenberg Super Circuit, and the International Color/Monochrome Awards. In 2020, she modeled for Valentino Haute Couture in Rome and collaborated with renowned photographer Nick Knight for a project published in Vogue. Sculptor Basil Watson has created limited-edition bronze sculptures inspired by her poses. Her artistic focus lies in fine art nude, ballet-influenced, and dynamic movement photography.
