Laís Ribeiro, originally named Laís Pereira de Oliveira, was born on October 5, 1989, in the small town of Miguel Alves, Piauí, Brazil. Laís hails from a rich cultural background that combines African, Indigenous Brazilian, Portuguese, and German ancestry, showcasing the variety inherent in Brazil's heritage. Her formal educational background is limited, with only a high school diploma noted, as she shifted her focus to a modeling career early on. Discovered in 2009 at a Brazilian modeling competition—encouraged by a friend—Laís began her journey shortly after becoming a mother to her son, Alexandre, at the age of 18.
