Larimar Fiallo — Biography

Born Larissa del Mar Fiallo Scanlón on June 17, 1983, Larimar Fiallo is recognized for her participation in the 2004 Miss Universe competition, where she proudly represented the Dominican Republic. Her journey to the international stage began with her triumph at the Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2004 pageant, securing the title for her native province of La Vega. Notably, she received her crown from Amelia Vega, the reigning Miss Universe 2003, also a Dominican. Larimar's familial ties to the pageant world run deep, as her mother, Gisselle Scanlón, achieved the distinction of first runner-up at the Miss Dominican Republic 1974 competition, ultimately competing at Miss World. Today, Fiallo continues her career as a professional model.
