Born in 1984, Laura Perego hails from Sicily and established herself as a performer in adult cinema. Her career took an international turn in March of 2009 when she staged a striking protest at the Milan Stock Exchange. Appearing unclothed, her demonstration was a response to the prevailing economic downturn, a visual statement that famously saw the phrase "Italy has remained in underwear" echo as a result of her actions.
