Lauren Jauregui — Biography

Born Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado on June 27, 1996, this American vocalist and lyricist first gained prominence as a member of the popular girl group Fifth Harmony. As her artistic vision evolved, Jauregui began to explore individual sonic landscapes and craft her own lyrical narratives, leading to collaborations with artists such as Marian Hill, Steve Aoki, and Halsey. She commenced work on her initial solo album in May of 2018, unveiling her debut solo single, "Expectations," in October of that same year under the Columbia Records label. The following January, she shared another solo offering, "More Than That." Jauregui also lent her voice to the soundtrack for the 2020 film Birds of Prey, and in February 2020, teamed up with Puerto Rican producer Tainy for the Latin urban track "Nada," featuring C. Tangana. Her own Tainy-produced single, "Lento," arrived with its accompanying music video on March 20, 2020. Jauregui's anticipated debut album is slated for release in 2020. By May 2025, her online presence had grown significantly, with 12.2 million followers on Instagram, 960,000 on TikTok, and 1.12 million subscribers on YouTube. Her former Fifth Harmony bandmates include Camila Cabello, Dinah Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke, and Normani.
