Luba Shumeyko — Biography

Luba Shumeyko, a Ukrainian artist and model, also recognized as Luba Shumeyko Hegre, commands attention in the realms of nude photography and modeling. Her journey began with studies in fashion design at Kiev's University of Technology. Shumeyko's professional path in modeling led her to collaborate with and marry Norwegian photographer Petter Hegre. She shares a twin sister, Nadya Shumeyko, who once posed nude alongside her but has since transitioned to broader modeling work. After achieving recognition as a local beauty queen, Shumeyko first made her mark online with Met-Art. Her profile significantly rose with Hegre-Archives, later rebranded as Hegre-Art in December 2005, where she became its primary model. Her likeness is even featured in the website's updated logo. In 2005, Shumeyko also became a contributor to The New Nude magazine. Her photographic presence extends to the work of Didier Carré and features in Perfect 10 magazine.
