Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez — Biography

Born in Lambaré, Paraguay, on February 29, 1992, María Guadalupe González Talavera is a Paraguayan figure known for her modeling career and pageant achievements. Her journey in the spotlight included winning the Miss Universe Paraguay 2013 crown, an accomplishment that led to her representing Paraguay on the global Miss Universe stage in 2013. On June 12, 2017, she entered into marriage with Juan Iturbe, a soccer player with both Paraguayan and Argentine heritage. Their wedding ceremony was held at the Joâo Havelange Hall within the Conmebol Convention Center. The couple resided in Italy until July of that same year. González is a vocal advocate for animal welfare. Her path to pageantry began in 2013 when she auditioned for "Our Beauty Paraguay," successfully advancing to become one of the 19 official contestants.
