Marisa Ramirez — Biography

Marisa Ramirez, an American actress, has carved out a notable career primarily in television. She is recognized for her contributions to daytime soap operas and, more recently, for her significant role as Detective Maria Baez in the popular police drama Blue Bloods. Prior to her appearance on that series, Ramirez held a regular spot on Lifetime's Against the Wall in 2011, portraying Detective Lina Flores. Although the show garnered decent viewership, it ultimately did not continue beyond its initial season. Just before securing that part, Ramirez was also seen as Melitta in the Starz production Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, a series that saw its production take place in New Zealand.
