Megan Desaever — Biography

Megan Desaever took part in the Dutch adaptation of Temptation Island during 2018. She achieved recognition as Playboy's Playmate Of The Month and graced the cover of Playboy Netherlands in 2020. The Belgian model and OnlyFans content creator encountered serious legal consequences in 2025 following her candid admission of tax evasion in a YouTube video, where she expressed frustration that reporting her complete earnings would result in losing "half of it" to what she characterized as an "unfair" tax system and discussed plans to move to the tax-exempt emirate of Dubai. Following the video's release, authorities launched an investigation that revealed she had generated approximately €100,000 from OnlyFans and two additional platforms during 2021 and 2022 without reporting any of these earnings. Adding to her troubles, she filed for bankruptcy in February 2022 in an apparent effort to evade repayment obligations. When her case came before the Bruges court on November 12, 2025, prosecutors contended that she had deliberately refused to fulfill her civic responsibilities, while her defense team argued that her youth, administrative inexperience, and lack of fraudulent intent should be considered mitigating factors, characterizing her YouTube comments as "regrettable, but human." The judge dismissed these arguments, determining that Desaever fully understood her actions, and imposed a 10-month conditional prison sentence, a €25,000 monetary penalty, and an obligation to reimburse €68,000 in unpaid taxes. This sentence followed an earlier 10-month conditional prison term she received in April 2024 for welfare fraud related to improperly received COVID-19 assistance payments.
