Megyn Marie Kelly is an accomplished American journalist, podcaster, and former corporate defense lawyer. She served as a news anchor at Fox News from 2004 until 2017 and later worked as a talk show host and correspondent for NBC News from 2017 to 2018. While at Fox News, Kelly anchored the program America Live, and prior to this role, she co-hosted America's Newsroom alongside Bill Hemmer. From 2007 to 2012, the duo also presented the network's New Year's Eve specials known as "All American New Year." Kelly went on to create and host The Kelly File from October 2013 to January 2017. In 2014, her influence earned her a place on the Time magazine list of the 100 most influential people. In January 2017, she departed Fox News to join NBC News, where she launched the third hour of the Today show with her segment, Megyn Kelly Today, in September 2017. However, the show was cancelled on October 26, 2018, and she exited NBC in January 2019.
