Melora Hardin — Biography

Melora Diane Hardin Jackson, born on June 29, 1967, is a performer and vocalist recognized for her significant contributions to television. Her portrayals of Jan Levinson in the NBC comedy The Office and Trudy Monk in the USA Network series Monk have cemented her place in popular culture. Furthermore, her work as Tammy Cashman on Amazon Prime Video's Transparent earned her a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award. She also took on the leading role of magazine editor-in-chief Jacqueline Carlyle in the Freeform comedy-drama The Bold Type, a series that ran for four years from June 2017 to June 2021.
