Michele Drake — Biography

Born on February 7, 1958, in La Jolla, California, Michele Drake is an American model and actress who gained prominence as Playboy magazine's featured Playmate in May 1979. While she pursued acting roles throughout her career, including a notable appearance in the 1980 film American Gigolo, her primary artistic interest has always centered on music. Drake was a member of the "Singing Playmates" musical ensemble and continues to perform today as part of an all-girl band that competes in karaoke competitions. Beyond entertainment, she has devoted herself to naturopathic medicine as a professional interest. Currently, Drake is married and raises two children. Additionally, she maintains that she is a direct descendant of the historical explorer Sir Francis Drake.
