Michelle Hamilton, originally named Roxanna Platt, was born on December 20, 1948, in Elmira, New York. She gained recognition as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month in March 1968, with her iconic centerfold captured by photographers William Figge and Ed DeLong. Tragically, Roxanna's father lost his life in the Korean War. Prior to her Playmate status, she made her first appearance in the November 1967 issue of Playboy, featured in the pictorial for the Playboy Charter Yacht Party, where she was referred to as "Roxanna." It was her grandmother who encouraged her to pursue a modeling opportunity with Figge. During this time in her life, she was studying at Pasadena City College. In a different field, Dr. Roxanna P. Platt practices family medicine in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She earned her medical degree from Spartan Health Sciences University and has been a practicing physician for over two decades.
