Michelle Leigh Calaway, better known as Michelle McCool, was born on January 25, 1980, in the United States and is a retired professional wrestler. Her most prominent achievements were during her tenure with WWE, where she held the title of WWE Divas Champion twice and was a two-time WWE Women's Champion. Before embarking on her wrestling career, she served as a middle school teacher in Palatka, Florida. McCool made her WWE debut in 2004 after participating in the WWE Diva Search competition. In her early appearances, she portrayed a personal trainer but later transitioned to a character based on her teaching background. At The Great American Bash in 2008, she earned the distinction of being the first WWE Divas Champion and retained the title for around five months. A year later, she captured the WWE Women's Championship at The Bash, making history as the first woman to hold both championships. During the Night of Champions event in 2010, she unified both titles, establishing herself as the first and only WWE Unified Divas Champion. Over the course of her WWE career, McCool held both championships a total of four times. In November 2010, she topped Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Female 50 list but subsequently retired in 2011. On June 26, 2010, she married fellow wrestler Mark Calaway, who is widely recognized as The Undertaker, in Houston, Texas. As of September 2025, McCool boasts a significant social media presence, with 976,000 followers on Instagram and 182,600 followers on TikTok.
