Born Rachel Livia Elizondo on June 21, 1955, Rachel McLish emerged as a prominent figure in American female bodybuilding, also making her mark as an actress and author. She holds the distinction of being the inaugural Ms. Olympia champion in 1980, a title that showcased her remarkable combination of sculpted physique and elegant presence, effectively shaping the path for subsequent female athletes in the sport. Her competitive achievements include securing first place at the 1980 US Bodybuilding Championship and earning the 2x IFBB Ms. Olympia title in 1980 and 1982. She also placed second at the 1981 IFBB Ms. Olympia and the 1984 IFBB Ms. Olympia, in addition to winning the 1982 Pro World Championship.
