Rasha Kirmani — Biography
Rasha Kirmani originated in Iran and relocated to Saudi Arabia during her youth, where she spent her formative years before eventually settling in Mumbai. Her entry into the entertainment industry occurred in 2018 when she began modeling in fashion presentations for various designers on the runway. During 2021, she appeared in two Punjabi music videos titled "Sunn Mahi" and "Pyaar hai Mera," which helped establish her visibility through her compelling on-screen performance. Her breakthrough moment came with the 2022 musical short film "Jeena Abhi Baaki Hai," directed by Imtiaz Ali, which garnered her significant recognition. The production explored the struggles confronting contemporary women, with Kirmani delivering a powerful portrayal of a woman experiencing domestic violence and demonstrating her acting capabilities.
