Rayna Jade Vallandingham is an American actress, internet personality, model, producer, and martial artist who holds the distinction of being the youngest black belt martial artist to win 12 World Championship Titles. At just eight years old in 2011, Vallandingham claimed 4 World Titles in Little Rock, Arkansas, including the Triple Crown in Traditional, Forms, Weapons, Sparring, and Creative Weapons, becoming the youngest black belt ever to achieve Championship status while competing against significantly older and larger opponents. She continued her winning streak in 2012 by securing 6 additional world championships across Triple Crown Traditional, Creative Weapons, XMA Forms, and XMA Weapons categories, followed by an XMA Forms World Championship victory in 2013. Following this latest accomplishment, she relocated to Los Angeles where she made her acting debut in Phillip Rhee's film Underdogs in the role of Leticia. Throughout her career, Vallandingham has traveled internationally for performances, teaching engagements, and public appearances while simultaneously pursuing modeling and other entertainment ventures including writing and stunt work. As a Brand Ambassador for the American Tae Kwon Do Association, she participates in campaigns, video productions, interviews, and photo shoots. She made history as the youngest competitor in the 12-14 division to perform on ESPN in front of thousands of spectators. Vallandingham appeared in the Youth by Shawn Mendes music video, showcasing her martial arts abilities alongside other talented performers. In 2024, she made her television debut on Netflix's Cobra Kai, playing Zara Malik, a self-assured influencer and martial artist serving as co-captain of the Iron Dragons dojo opposite Lewis Tan and Patrick Luwis. During the tournament arc, her character faced her first competitive loss against Tory Nichols in the Season 6 girls finals. She appears in the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Vallandingham has Dutch and Indian heritage. By March 2026, she accumulated 3.6 million Instagram followers, 3.1 million TikTok followers, and 727,000 YouTube subscribers.
