Prior to her career in adult entertainment, Leone held a position as an IP Officer at San Francisco General Hospital, where she began making adult films during her off-hours.

In 2004, Leone, alongside a San Francisco police officer who now goes by the name Joe Friday, garnered attention for their roles in Bus Stop Whores. This 45-minute hardcore video was filmed in Los Angeles. In the film, Leone played a sex worker, and Friday portrayed her customer. Leone recounted the exposure of their work: "One of my husband's co-workers found something of us on the web. He took it to the station and showed everybody. It leaked to my department. Then someone leaked it to the news. It was a big scandal for about three weeks." The ensuing media attention led both Leone and Friday to resign from their respective police departments and pursue adult film full-time. They wed in that same year. Even before leaving the police force, Leone had already created several adult videos, attended industry conventions, and maintained her own adult website.
