Rena Kato — Biography

Rena Kato, born July 10, 1997, is a Japanese personality, fashion model, and performer. She previously belonged to the prominent Japanese girl group AKB48, where she was a part of Team A. In addition to her group activities, Kato was also a member of a short-lived AKB48 special unit known as AnRiRe. This trio, which included her close associates Anna Iriyama and Rina Kawaei, debuted in 2012. Their sole single, "Ikujinashi Masquerade," a collaboration with Rino Sashihara of HKT48, achieved the top position on the Japanese music charts.
