Sabine Lisicki — Biography

Born on September 22, 1989, Sabine Katharina Lisicki is a German athlete who competes in professional tennis. Her journey on the professional circuit began in 2006. A significant turning point in her career arrived in 2009, a year that saw her advance to the quarterfinal stage of the prestigious Wimbledon Championships. In the same year, she also secured her inaugural WTA championship title, the Family Circle Cup. Previously, Lisicki was in a long-term relationship with German comedian Oliver Pocher, a partnership that lasted for approximately three years before their separation in 2016. Later, on March 8, 2024, Lisicki shared on social media platform Instagram the joyous news that she and her partner were anticipating the arrival of a child. This was followed by a further announcement on September 8, 2024, when she revealed the birth of their daughter.
