Sarah Ferguson, affectionately known by the nickname Fergie, is a British author and a figure who, despite her royal connections, possesses a perspective often resonating with American sensibilities rather than strictly adhering to traditional British upper-class norms. Formerly Sarah, Duchess of York, she was married to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was then Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
