Sian Adey-Jones — Biography

Sian Adey-Jones, hailing from Ain Bodfair in Denbighshire, Wales, and later residing in London and Ibiza, Greece, had an illustrious modelling career that included 12 magazine covers and 12 photoshoots before she decided to retire in 1988. In 1976, she achieved recognition by winning the title of Miss Wales and was the second runner-up at the Miss Universe competition that same year. Following this, she was the first runner-up in the Miss United Kingdom contest, finishing just behind Carol Grant, who represented Scotland and had also placed behind Adey-Jones in the Miss Universe event. She represented Britain in the Miss International pageant in 1977 as Miss Britain. Adey-Jones later ventured into topless modelling, frequently featuring as a Page 3 girl in The Sun, and made a rare fully nude appearance in the September 1983 issue of Mayfair (vol.18, #9). Additionally, she had a minor role in the 1985 James Bond film A View to a Kill. In 1978, to commemorate Britain's lone football team qualifying for the Argentina World Cup, she was photographed in the Daily Mirror wearing only a Scotland football shirt. Currently, she resides on Ibiza with her Italian husband, Rocco, and is a mother to son Dylan, born in 1993, and an adopted daughter named Tallulah.
