Stacy Carter — Biography
Born on September 29, 1970, Stacy Carter is an American figure known for her presence in professional wrestling, both as a manager and, at times, an active participant, under the moniker Stacy Carter. She gained wider recognition in the World Wrestling Federation, where she was famously known as The Kat. During her time with the WWF, she achieved a notable feat by capturing the Women's Championship, a significant accomplishment despite not possessing formal wrestling training. A memorable moment from her WWF career occurred at the December 1999 Armageddon pay-per-view event when she engaged in an act of deliberate nudity, an early example of such on WWF programming. This public exposure continued on subsequent pay-per-view broadcasts. Carter was previously married to wrestler and announcer Jerry Lawler. Lawler departed the WWF shortly after Carter's departure in early 2001, but he later rejoined the company following their divorce in July of that same year. Currently, Stacy Carter continues her work in professional wrestling on the independent circuit, performing under her given name.
