Suhana Khan — Biography
Suhana Khan, an Indian performer, is the progeny of acclaimed actor Shah Rukh Khan and producer Gauri Khan. Her acting journey includes portraying Veronica Lodge in the 2023 film The Archies. Her education saw her complete secondary studies at Ardingly College before pursuing further artistic training at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. From her earliest days, Khan has been a figure of public fascination, a consequence of her father's considerable fame, a level of attention she has previously expressed a dislike for. In 2018, she graced the cover of Vogue India. Her initial foray into acting occurred the following year with the short film The Grey Part of Blue. More recently, Khan has lent her image to prominent brands, becoming a face for Maybelline New York and Reliance Retail's beauty line, Tira, in 2023. She was also revealed as the new ambassador for the long-standing Indian beauty soap brand Lux in May 2024, coinciding with its centenary celebration. This same year, she brought the character of Veronica Lodge to life in Zoya Akhtar's teen drama, The Archies. Khan also contributed her voice to the film's soundtrack, performing the song "Jab Tum Na Theen." Critical reception for her performance varied, with Sukanya Verma of Rediff.com finding her to be "ready-to-ship star material," while Sneha Bengani of CNBC TV18 described her acting as "wooden" and "too plastic."
