Suzanne Somers, born on October 16, 1946, is a celebrated American actress, author, and entrepreneur, renowned for her performances on the popular ABC sitcoms Three's Company and Step by Step, where she starred alongside Angela Watson, Christine Lakin, and Staci Keanan. In the 1980s, Somers found success as an entertainer in Las Vegas and became the face of the Thighmaster, an innovative exercise tool designed to be squeezed between the thighs, which played a pivotal role in the early development of the infomercial industry.
