Tanaya Beatty — Biography

Hailing from Canada, Tanaya Beatty has carved out a notable career in acting. Her presence was felt in the cinematic adaptation of The Twilight Saga, where she portrayed Rachel Black in Breaking Dawn - Part 1. Beyond that, she has taken on significant characters, including Jessica Finch in True Justice and Caitlin Javier in the popular Canadian show Arctic Air. Her upcoming work includes a portrayal of Sacagawea in the HBO miniseries Lewis and Clark. The year 2016 saw her join the ensemble of NBC's The Night Shift, stepping into the role of Dr. Shannon Rivera. More recently, in 2018, Beatty took on leading parts, embodying Annie in the film version of Joseph Boyden's novel Through Black Spruce and playing Avery in the series Yellowstone.
