Alessandra Sublet — Biography

Born in Lyon on October 5, 1976, Alessandra Sublet is a prominent figure in French broadcasting. Her broadcasting journey began on radio, with early stints at Nostalgie and MTV in New York, followed by roles at Radio Nova and FG DJ Radio. She later transitioned to television, first as a columnist for Match TV and TF1 in 2003, and then for Canal+ from 2004 to 2006.

Sublet joined M6 in 2006, where she hosted several popular shows, including Classé Confidentiel, the initial seasons of La France a un incroyable talent, and L'amour est dans le pré. She also fronted Nouvelle Star, ça continue on W9. In 2008, she appeared in a televised advertisement for Lancôme's perfume Magnifique.

Her most significant television role to date was hosting the daily program C à vous on France 5, a position she held from September 2009 to June 2013. During this period, she also participated in various charity telethons and special programs for France 2. Following a maternity leave in 2012, she returned to C à vous before announcing her departure in 2013, being succeeded by Anne-Sophie Lapix.

Since then, Sublet has continued to host a variety of programs. She presented Fais-moi une place on France 5, a show where guests share their favorite places. She also hosted Tenue de soirée exigée on France 2, and the talk show Un soir à la Tour Eiffel on TF1, which concluded in 2015. In September 2015, she moved to TF1 to host entertainment programs and develop new formats, including Stars à domicile. She has also presented anniversary concerts and retrospective television programs. Currently, she hosts the French talk show C'est Canteloup alongside Nicolas Canteloup.

On the radio front, Sublet returned to present a weekly show on France Inter in 2010 before leaving to focus on television. In 2014, she hosted a Sunday program on Europe 1, departing a year later to concentrate on her television commitments.

Alessandra Sublet's personal life includes a marriage and separation in 2008-2009. She has two children, a daughter named Charlie born in 2012 and a son named Alphonse born in 2014, from her relationship with film and television producer Clément Miserez, whom she married in 2012. Sublet is also recognized for her distinctive short haircut, which she has described as a personal choice for self-assertion and a style she finds suits her well.
