Amanda Tapping — Biography

Amanda Tapping, born on August 28, 1965, is a talented actress and director with British-Canadian roots. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Samantha Carter in the military science fiction TV series Stargate SG-1, as well as in its spin-offs, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe. Additionally, she is celebrated for her portrayal of Helen Magnus in the science fiction-fantasy series Sanctuary.
