Amy Acker — Biography

Amy Louise Acker, born on December 5, 1976, is a talented actress from the United States. She gained widespread recognition for her roles as Winifred Burkle and Illyria in the supernatural drama Angel, which aired from 2001 to 2004. Acker also portrayed Kelly Peyton in the action-packed series Alias from 2005 to 2006. Additionally, she is known for her character Root in the science fiction drama Person of Interest, where she starred alongside Sarah Shahi from 2012 to 2016. Following that, she took on the role of Caitlin Strucker in the superhero drama The Gifted, which aired from 2017 to 2019 and is inspired by Marvel Comics' X-Men universe.
