Ana Kasparian, born Anahit Misak Kasparian, is a prominent American voice in independent political commentary, media hosting, and journalism. Her career is most notably tied to The Young Turks, an online news program where she serves as the principal host and a producer. Her involvement with the show began in 2007 when she started as a fill-in producer. Kasparian also had a presence on the television iteration of The Young Turks, which broadcast on Current TV. Previously, she led her own show, The Point, on the TYT Network. Additionally, she co-hosted a program on the Jacobin YouTube channel titled Weekends with Ana Kasparian and Nando Vila.
