Anna Podkopaeva — Biography
Anna Nicolaevna Podkopaeva, known in Russian as А́нна Никола́евна Подкопаева, was born on April 16, 1990, in Ulyanovsk, with her maiden name being Malova (Мало́ва). She is an accomplished volleyball player from Russia and a member of the Russia women's national volleyball team. Throughout her career, she has represented her country in several significant tournaments, including the 2013 Summer Universiade held in Kazan, the Montreux Volley Masters in both 2013 and 2014, and the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix across the years 2013 to 2016. Podkopaeva has also competed in the European Championships in 2013 and 2015, the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Italy, the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup in Japan, and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. On the club scene, she began with Iskra Samara and Ufimochka before making a transition to Dinamo Moscow in January 2014.
