Cara Lott passed away in 2018 after a prolonged struggle with an undisclosed illness, according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb). Her journey in adult entertainment began at the age of 18, when she asked a friend to take some lingerie photos of her. She submitted these images to Hustler, leading to her selection as the centerfold for the December 1981 issue. Following her signing with a modeling agency, Lott started shooting for nude magazines and soon ventured into adult films. She is recognized for her cameo in Brian DePalma’s 1984 thriller Body Double, where she appeared as "Girl #2 in Bathroom" under the name Pamela Weston.
After 1991, Lott took a break from the adult industry to pursue her education and complete a degree in Health Sciences. She made a return to adult filmmaking in 1997-98, during which she completed six additional films, bringing her career total to around 300 movies. In January 2005, she re-entered the adult film scene as a "40+ model," taking on roles as a "MILF" actress and featuring on the covers and within the pages of both "Girls Over 40" and "40 Something" magazines.
