Carrie-Anne Moss — Biography

Born on August 21, 1967, Carrie-Anne Moss is a Canadian talent who made her mark in acting. Following initial forays into television, she achieved global recognition for her portrayal of Trinity, a pivotal character in the groundbreaking Matrix film franchise, which began in 1999 and continues to be relevant. Her filmography includes notable performances in Memento (2000), an achievement for which she earned the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female. She also appeared in Red Planet (2000), Chocolat (2000), Fido (2006), and Snow Cake (2006), a role that garnered her the Genie Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role. Additional film credits include Disturbia (2007), Unthinkable (2010), Silent Hill: Revelation (2012), and Pompeii (2014).
