Cecily Strong — Biography

Cecily Legler Strong, an American actress and comedian, has been a fixture on Saturday Night Live since 2012. Her acting credits also extend to the film Ghostbusters and the animated series The Awesomes, where she lent her voice. In March of 2024, Strong shared news of her engagement to John MacGregor. Later that year, in November, she announced via Instagram her pregnancy with her first child, a daughter, conceived through in vitro fertilization. Her social media post at the time also urged her followers to cast their votes against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 United States presidential election. Strong welcomed her daughter the subsequent April.
