Christi Lake — Biography
Christi Lake, originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, later residing in Michigan, made a significant mark on the adult film industry, amassing 273 cover appearances, 21 photo spreads, and 252 videos before concluding her performing career in 2004. Her multifaceted career extended beyond acting to producing, directing, and modeling. Christi grew up in a modest household and after high school, her early work experiences in a factory and a video store proved unsatisfying; the factory environment, in particular, was described as tedious and posed health risks due to chemical exposure. Her entry into adult entertainment began on a dare when she participated in an amateur contest at a local strip club. Finding the experience enjoyable, she left her factory job to pursue dancing full-time.
Her engagement with the swinger lifestyle led her to attend a Swinger’s Convention. This event proved to be a turning point, as she was approached for modeling opportunities that led to magazine layouts in New York. Subsequently, she received an invitation to work a booth at the 1995 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. It was at CES that she encountered numerous adult film producers who offered her acting roles. She made her debut in hardcore films later that year, at the age of 31, an age when many performers typically begin to retire. Despite her age at the time of her debut, Christi consistently asserted that she did not identify as a MILF and actively avoided roles that cast her in that light.
Under various pseudonyms including Christy Lake, Cristi Lake, and Christine L. Jacquart, she appeared in an estimated 200 to 252 films. Notable among these were her mainstream role in Orgazmo (1997), a scene in Buttman’s Bend Over Babes 4 (1996) which earned her an AVN Award for Best Group Sex Scene – Video in 1997 alongside co-stars Ruby, Rocco Siffredi, and John Stagliano, Fan Fuxxx 6 (1998), Truckstop Trixie (2003) where she played the character Claudine, and Naked Hollywood 15: The Body Beautiful (2003) in the role of Julia. Standing at 5’9” and weighing 121 pounds, Christi was characterized by her brown hair that could shift to blonde or auburn, brown eyes, and measurements of 34C-24-34. She had no tattoos or piercings and was recognized for her versatility in performing anal, lesbian, and group scenes.
Christi Lake also established her own production company, Dripping Wet Pix, responsible for films such as Southern Comfort, Parts I and II (which underwent a title change due to a lawsuit from a liquor company) and Director’s Wet Dreams (1997), a
