Diana Monteiro — Biography

Hailing from Portugal, Diana Monteiro is a vocalist who has twice had the honor of representing her nation on the international stage. She first competed in the twenty-third edition of the North Vision Song Contest, and later returned for its thirty-second iteration. Born on July 24, 1983, Diana calls Porto her home city. Her current romantic life is shared with Ricardo Loureiro. The seeds of her musical journey were sown at the tender age of fourteen when Diana joined forces with friends to establish a band. A pivotal moment arrived in 2007 with a casting announcement from TVI. Without hesitation, Diana seized the opportunity. She traveled to Lisbon for the audition and, as it turned out, never returned to Porto. She made the bold decision to leave her familiar life behind for the pursuit of a career as a Just Girl, a choice she expresses no regret over.
