Donna Ewin — Biography

Born on June 4, 1970, in Bethnal Green, London, Donna Ewin earned her nickname "the body" during a prolific career as a British glamour model, actress, and Page 3 Girl throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s. She also operated under the pseudonym Nina Downe, which is an anagram of her real name. After completing her education, she signed with the Yvonne Paul Management agency and made her debut on page 3 of The Sun newspaper at just seventeen years old. Her striking looks and marketability quickly made her one of the most sought-after Page 3 Girls of her era, securing regular work in leading adult publications such as Mayfair, Penthouse, and Playboy. In 1999, she appeared without credit as a "Masked Buxom Girl" in the elaborate orgy sequence from director Stanley Kubrick's final film, Eyes Wide Shut. Her television work included recurring appearances on the BBC comedy program the Fast Show, where she performed both on the small screen and in live theatrical productions, particularly in the "Mr. and Mrs. Shag" sketch. In 1991, she was featured in the computer game Cover Girl Strip Poker. Following her modeling and acting career, she obtained her qualification as a London Taxi driver by successfully completing the Knowledge examination. Throughout her career, Ewin posed for twenty-eight magazine covers, twenty-four photo layouts, and four videos before retiring in 2011.
