Dzinara Alimbekava — Biography
Born on January 5, 1996, in Kazakhstan, Dinara Talhatauna Alimbekava is a biathlete representing Belarus. Her athletic achievements include securing a gold medal in the 4×6 km relay at the 2018 Olympic Games. Alimbekava achieved her inaugural victory in an IBU World Cup event, a sprint race held in Hochfilzen, Austria, during December of 2020. Furthermore, she concluded the 2020-21 World Cup season as the leader in the Under-25 Cup standings. Originally from Kazakhstan, with a Kazakh father and a Belarusian mother, Alimbekava's family relocated to Belarus when she was three years old. Her brother, Zhenya, was born there. Outside of her sport, Alimbekava possesses professional training in piano and dedicates her leisure time to skating and snowboarding.
