Emily Alyn Lind has built an impressive resume for someone of her young age, showcasing remarkable talent as a rising star in Hollywood. She is set to appear alongside Ewan McGregor and Rebecca Ferguson in the Warner Bros. feature Doctor Sleep (2019), a sequel to the beloved Stephen King novel, The Shining. Emily will also play a role in the Facebook Watch series "Sacred Lies: The Singing Bones," which features Juliette Lewis and draws inspiration from The Brothers Grimm's tales, incorporating elements from true crime stories.
Later this year, she will begin filming for "The Babysitter 2" on Netflix, where she reprises her character 'Melanie' from the popular original film. In addition to her acting projects, Emily is venturing into music, co-writing her own songs with production from Trizm, who has worked with artists like Kanye West and Doja Cat, and KoOoLkOjAk, known for contributions to Spider Verse and works with Flo Rida and Sean Paul. Her debut single is anticipated for release in early November.
Last year, she appeared in the sci-fi thriller "Replicas," starring opposite Keanu Reeves and Alice Eve. In 2017, she featured in the horror film "Lights Out," and earlier, in 2011, she portrayed a young Shirley Temple in Clint Eastwood's "J. Edgar" alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. Emily's filmography includes "The Haunting in Connecticut 2" and "Won't Back Down," where she worked with Maggie Gyllenhaal. She also starred in "Dear Dumb Diary," based on the popular children’s book series, "Jackie and Ryan" alongside Katherine Heigl and Ben Barnes at the 2014 Venice Film Festival, and "Hidden," with Alexander Skarsgard and Andrea Riseborough.
Her career began with the role of 'Young Lily' in "The Secret Life of Bees," and at just five years old, she played 'Young Linda' in Gaspar Noe’s "Enter the Void," which premiered at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. That same year, she appeared on television in the ABC series "Eastwick" and the soap "All My Children." Other TV credits include "Medium," "Criminal Minds," "Hawaii 5-0," "Suburgatory," Lifetime’s "Who is Clark Rockefeller?", "Sundays at Tiffany's," "Code Black," and "Rush Hour." Emily is well-recognized for her role as 'Young Amanda Clarke' in the popular ABC series "Revenge."
Beyond her artistic endeavors, Emily is dedicated to giving back, particularly through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Her philanthropy was sparked by her role as 'Vanessa Marks,' a girl fighting cancer, in "November Christmas." She initiated a ‘love box’ on the set to encourage donations to the charity and was able to raise an impressive amount, leading her to establish a ‘love box’ on every
